Abstract. A controller providing communication between a computer and a CAMAC crate via the USB bus is described. For this purpose, the controller includes a DLP-USBM module, which allows a programmer to work with the controller through a virtual COM port and, at the same time, provides all the advantages of the USB : Yu. V. Tuboltsev, Yu. V. Chichagov, E. M. Khilkevitch, V. D. Simutkin. A programmable input-output processor has been provided for use with multiple channel data acquisition systems such as the CAMAC dataway, a standardized digital system that is capable of handling vast amounts of digital data. The processor acts as a branch driver which provides multiple channel direct memory access to a host computer via a single memory access by:

CAMAC modules may be plugged into a CAMAC crate which has 25 STATIONS, numbered 1 - Stat the rightmost station, is reserved for a CRATE CONTROLLER, whereas Stations 1 - 24 are NORMAL STATIONS used for CAMAC modules (see Block Diagram). Usually, Station 24 is also used by the controller in that most controllers are double width (#2. CAMAC operating voltages. The controller which usually occupies two of the module stations within a CAMAC system is designed into the SCSICrate enclosure. Thus, all eleven stations are available for modules. The module enclosure compartment of the SCSICrate contains two cooling fans. Up to CFM of cooling is supplied to the CAMAC module area.

Nim Committee. An American national standard Multiple controllers in a CAMAC crate: Responsibility: sponsor, Instruments and Detectors Committee of the IEEE Nuclear and Plasma Sciences Society.

IEEE Standard Multiple Controllers in a CAMAC Crate Abstract: This standard defines a method for incorporating more than one source of control into a CAMAC crate. The standard fully conforms to the mechanical and signal standards of the CAMAC system as described in ANSI/IEEE StdModular Instrumentation and Digital Interface System (CAMAC), or EUR e.

Title: Multiple controllers in a CAMAC crate Provision for the use of auxiliary controllers in a CAMAC crate is made to extend the capabilities and fields of application of the CAMAC modular instrumentation and interface system of IEEE Standard (EUR e).

The ESONE document corresponding to this report document is EUR e. The document Multiple Controllers in a CAMAC Crate was defined as a result of close collaboration between working groups of the NIM Committee and the European Distributed Intelligence Study Group (EDISG), a joint study group of the ESONE Committee, the European CAMAC Association (ECA) and Purdue Europe.

and European Standards on Nuclear Electronics Committee. Abstract. Issued March Previously announced as TIDMode of access: Internet Command and control systems. In order to allow more than one Controller to access the Dataway of a CAMAC Criite, an Auxiliary Controller Bus (ACE) and priority arbitration protocol are fully defined.

This permits the use of Auxiliary Controllers (ACs) in normal stations in the crate. This IEEE standard defines a method for incorporating more than one source of control into a CAMAC crate.

The standard fully conforms to the mechanical and signal standards of the CAMAC system as described in ANSI/IEEE Stdmodular instrumentation and digital interface system (CAMAC. I want to have one model & view that is served by multiple controllers in my MVC 3 app.

I'm implementing a system that interacts with the users' online calendar and I support Exchange, Google, Hotmail, Yahoo, Apple, ect. A serial highway (SH) system using byte-organized messages and configured as a unidirectional loop, to which are connected a system controller and up to sixty-two CAMAC crate assemblies, is defined.

In the primary application, the controlled devices are CAMAC crate assemblies with serial crate controllers that conform to a defined message structure. IEEE (R) IEEE Standard Multiple Controllers in a CAMAC Crate (Computer Automated Measurement and Control) A method for incorporating more than one source of control into a CAMAC crate is defined.

The aim is to provide for the use of auxiliary controllers in order to extend the capabilities and fields of application of the CAMAC.

CAMAC - "Computer Aided Measurement And Control" is a joint specification of the U.S. NIM and the European ESONE was introduced in by ESONE and fully defined in with the standards EUR and EUR It represents a complementation of the NIM standard for computer based experiment control and data acquisition / measurements.

A CAMAC crate controller that can be attached to a FASTBUS cable segment has been designed to incorporate CAMAC systems into a FASTBUS environment. The controller meets the multiple controller specification of CAMAC. The block transfer modes are enhanced with functional shares with a FASTBUS master by: 5.

longer in use. This is because most of the common interfaces of CAMAC crate- controllers to micro computers are not available in modern computers (such as ISA slots, GPIB boards, etc.). Also, when still in use, even in applications where only a few modules are necessary, a noisy and heavy CAMAC crate must be employed.

In. A CAMAC crate controller module having a built-in transputer was developed, being named the “Intelligent CAMAC Crate Controller (ICCC)”. Due to the transputer's architecture, multiple ICCCs can be networked by simple serial link by: 2.Real-time Basic for CAMAC; Auxiliary crate controller specification/support; FORTRAN subroutines for CAMAC.

Within the dataway, modules are addressed by slot (geographical addressing). The left-most 22 slots are available for application modules while the right-most two slots are dedicated to a crate controller. In HMVC a controller has views, but it's also a view itself for a "higher-level controller" which gives it a "higher-level model" to base its own model on (at least in part).

According to HMVC, delegates are just intermediary controllers as seen from the views, and intermediary views, as seen from the controller .
